Moonstone Poetry @ Toast Café, 1201 Spruce Street

Shevaun Brannigan is a graduate of the Bennington Writing Seminars, as well as The Jiménez-Porter Writers’ House at The University of Maryland. Her poems have appeared in such journals as Best New Poets, Rhino, Redivider, and Crab Orchard Review.

Irène Mathieu is a pediatrician, poet, and public health researcher. She is the winner of the Bob Kaufman Book Prize and Yemassee Journal’s Poetry Prize, and she has received fellowships from the Callaloo Creative Writing Workshop and the Fulbright Program. Irène is the author of the poetry book orogeny and chapbook the galaxy of origins.
