The Last Word is a Poetry and Performance Open Mic Series that features, readings by local literary and performance artists, along with musicians, singers, clowns, bungee jumpers, ninjas, and macaroni… Hosted by patron saint of the sinful arts St. Skribbly LaCroix. This event is a playground for artists of all backgrounds, new and veteran… The zaniness of its main players makes for an atmosphere that allows for anything… Its the open mic you’ve always wanted to attend… where decorum, etiquette, and peace are thrown out the window and traded for Fun, Insanity, Relaxation, and some damn good and creative expression…Every 3rd Thursday.
