Michael Loughran, Elaine Terranova & Sharon White
| Michael Loughran was born in New Hope, Pennsylvania and later received an MFA from the University of Florida. His poems have appeared in Tin House, Can We Have Our Ball Back?, Harvard Review, jubilat, Lit, CAB/NET, and Subtropics. He teaches at the Community College of Philadelphia. |
 Elaine Terrranova’s most recent publications are Not To: New and Selected Poems, from Sheep Meadow Press, and a chapbook, Elegiac: Footnotes from Rilke’s Duino Elegies. Her awards include the Walt Whitman Award and fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, and the Pew Center for Arts & Heritage. She is on the faculty of the MFA in Creative Writing Program at Rutgers University, Camden, and also teaches at the Community College of Philadelphia. |
 Sharon White’s book, Vanished Gardens: Finding Nature in Philadelphia, won the Association of Writers and Writing Programs award in creative nonfiction. She is also the author of two collections of poetry, Eve & Her Apple, published in February by Harbor Mountain Press, and Bone House. Her memoir, Field Notes, A Geography of Mourning, received the Julia Ward Howe Prize, Honorable Mention, from the Boston Author’s Club. Some of her other awards include the Italo Calvino prize in Fabulist Fiction, a Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Fellowship for Creative Nonfiction, the Leeway Foundation Award for Achievement, a Colorado Council on the Arts Fellowship, and a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship. Her poems, essays, and articles have appeared in many magazines and journals including Isotope, House Beautiful, Appalachia, Kalliope, and North American Review.
