Renne is a rock/jazz crossover group based in the Philadelphia area. Rooted in indie pop, but with an experimental fusion edge and strong undertones of modern jazz, Renne’s debut album ‘Summer Visits’ has been described as ‘evocative, thoughtful, and thoroughly original…at times danceable, somber, or purely beautiful.’ Attempting to balance accessibility with musical and lyrical integrity, composition with improvisation and interaction–Renne is honest and raw, relating to a wide variety of listeners while maintaining a distinctive style.
